I think its the fourth one down - reminds me of Joseph Beuys installation at the Tate Modern. Excelent photos! What amazing collections. Is the market always there. Is there a feeling of community within the groups of sellers. It looks very relaxed - sparce. Everyone seems to have caravans too! excellent. Caravans are fab I think. Nothing better then a place where you can drive and sleep at the same time. Sorry sleep in the same place and drive in the same space.
I agree - the photograps are great and strangely moving. For me the images recall something of the Holocaust exhibition - the remnants of so many lives, dislocated and laid open to scrutiny. sara
Cheers guys, the place was amazing, increadibly dusty and fascinating - each and everything that you can imagine was there - including copious amounts of porn mags - on one stall the pile was overflowing onto a pile of catholic chalices, and another they were mixing with kids books. Slightly bizarre have to say. There were also new stalls, antiques clothes, typewriters, bikes, toys, books, family heirloomes, and all sorts.
Means and ways of looking at this blog - no category is absolute; each and everything is not classified by every category; only when appropriate. I hope it is more of a starting point; each post gives links to another, whether to complete it, or for any other purpose. It is a little like an image based brainstorm, although without a clear overview. Alternatively it can be seen chronologically by post, although this may appear sporadic, which at times it is.
